Alberta Commissioners must endorse their names, the date of the expiry of their appointment if applicable, and the words “A Commissioner for Oaths in and for Alberta” on documents. Lawyers may consider ordering new stamps to reflect the new wording. Members of the Law Society or students-at-law must also indicate their status on the document in the manner earlier indicated.
